The more your therapist knows about you, the better. To maximise your outcall massage experience, keeping the lines of communication open between you and your therapist is crucial. Here is afew things you should share with your massage therapist.

1. Injuries – if it’s a new injury first you should rest up and get it checked. After is when you’re supposed to get a massage to help deal with the pain and or swelling

2. Pregnancy – if you’re pregnant there are some places you’re not supposed to be massaged and thats why you need to give a heads up. Also the massage will help with leg swelling and back pains.

3. Worries and concerns – just share what you could be worried or concerned about with your therapist it’ll help her know what will make you relax and enjoy your session.

4. Pressure adjustment – massage isn’t supposed to be painful although there’s some people who like the pain. Let your therapist know if you want the pressure added or reduced so as to get the most out of your session.

5. Problem areas – if you have a problem area (eg upper or lower back pain, thigh cramps) which needs extra attention just let your therapist know before you start the session.

6. The kind of massage you’d like – it doesn’t have to be because of a problem. You might just need the massage to help you relax and that’s okay.
