We are part of Momentum Metropolitan Group which is one of the largest insurance-based financial services groups listed on the South Africa Stock Exchange, the JSE with a market capitalization of US$4bn. Created in December 2010 from the merger of Metropolitan Holdings and the Momentum Group, MM is doing business in countries such as Ghana, Namibia, Kenya, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique outside South Africa as well as the United Kingdom and India.
MM’s core businesses are long and short-term insurance, asset management, savings, investment, healthcare administration, health risk management, employee benefits and rewards programmes. These solutions are provided to all market segments through our operating brands, Metropolitan and Momentum.
